trustee ex maleficio
A trustee from wrongdoing; the trustee of a trust arising by operation of law from a wrongful acquisition. A person charged as a constructive trustee because without right he has entered into possession or assumed the management of property belonging to another. Morris v Joseph, 1 W Va 256. See constructive trust.
