A draft or bill of exchange, drawn by the seller on the purchaser of goods sold, and accepted by such purchaser, the purpose of the transaction being to enable the seller to raise money upon the paper before the obligation of the purchaser matures under the terms of sale. Legal Discount Corp. v Martin Hardware Co. 199 Wash 476, 91 P2d 1010, 129 ALR 420. A form of obligation revived in this country under the regulations of the Federal reserve bank board.
