redditus

redditus: A return; a return or compensation for the possession of land; rent. Under the feudal system, this render, reditus, return or rent, consists in chivalry principally of military services; in villeinage, of the most slavish services; and in socage, it usually consists of money, though it may consist of services still, or of any other certain profit.
