physical defect
A condition of the body, resulting from accident or sickness, which impairs bodily function, particularly in movement. Something that materially impairs, weakens, or undermines the constitution, tends to reduce powers of resistance, and thereby enhances the risk of death. 29A Am J Rev ed Ins § 1211.
