A deposit in court, of money or property capable of delivery, made through the clerk of the court, pursuant to an order of the court rendered upon an application therefor, to be disposed of ultimately as the rights of the interested parties may appear. 23 Am J2d Funds & D § 2. A requirement imposed upon the plaintiff in interpleader. 30 Am J Rev ed Interpl § 26. A deposit made with the clerk of court of an amount of money which the depositor admits to be due his adversary in an action pending in the court. Dirks v Juel, 59 Neb 353, 80 NW 1045.
