insecurity clause
A provision in a chattel mortgage which gives the mortgagee a right to take possession of the mortgaged chattels whenever he deems himself insecure. 15 Am J2d Chat Mtg § 202. A clause in an instrument for the payment of money which authorizes acceleration of maturity if and when the holder deems his claim insecure. 11 Am J2d B & N § 185.
