Fenced land. Land surrounded by a fence, hedge, ditch, wall, or any line of obstacles interposed so as to part off and shut in the land and set it off as private property, but not necessarily so securely as to prevent the passing of cattle to and from the premises. Kimball v Carter, 95 Va 77.
