Alien Property Custodian
An officer, appointed pursuant to the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917 and amendments thereto, to take custody, at the direction of the President of the United States, of the property, corporeal and incorporeal, of an enemy alien not licensed to retain control of his property. 56 Am J1st War § 85.
