Procured in violation of law. As used in the naturalization law providing for the cancellation of a certificate "unlawfully procured," the term means procured by subornation or some other illegal means used to impose upon the court; it does not mean that the certificate was issued through error of law. See United States v Luria (DC NY) 184 F 643.
