guilty knowledge
An element of offenses, such as receiving stolen property or accepting bank deposits with knowledge of insolvency of the bank, consisting of actual knowledge of the relevant fact or of notice of facts and circumstances from which knowledge of the relevant fact may be implied, but not merely of an innocent bona fide ignorance arising from neglect to keep posted or to inquire.
