The act of operating an aircraft thru the air. Anno: 83 ALR 389; 99 ALR 202. Usually understood, when appearing in an exception to the risk in a life or accident policy, purporting to exclude coverage while participating in an aeronautic operation, as not applicable to a fare-paying passenger, but a contrary result has been reached in some cases where other terms of the exclusion are considered with the expression in question. 29 Am J Rev ed Ins § 1270.
